Divine intervention and sisterfriends.

I originally wrote this three years ago today for an old blog.   Thought I’d reshape it here as it still rings true.

About #divineintervention and #sisterfriends Posted on June 24, 2015

Yesterday at work in the middle of a conversation I bursted out in tears. Then after work, in the hair salon I’m damn near inconsolable. For the past few weeks or so I have been so dang frustrated with life only to then have to deal with that car of mine. I was feeling so low and alone and honestly in the midst of or on the verge of a mental breakdown. I wanted to scream, hit something, vent and cuss. But check how the universe works… My stylist NEVER overbooks, he moves effortlessly between appointments. But yesterday something happened, the entire salon was color or chemicals and he was running behind. I was there a little longer than usual and some folks even showed up early. Right after I got myself together I hear a familiar voice “girl I knew that was your car out there”. She showed up earlier than normal for her appointment. After quick small talk my friend read my face and my heart, gave me a hug and then her heart, shoulder and her ears. I was allowed to vent, to breathe, to let go just for a little while. I’m so thankful for all of my sister friends and brothers too. And most thankful and how the universe brings us all together just when necessary.
