Daddy’s Girl

That’s my pops.  His health and mental being are fading at a considerable rate.   

So a few weeks ago when I saw him for his birthday there were a few moments of clarity. In one of them he heartfully apologized for not being there as a father when he should have and not being the protector he believes he should have been to his daughter. Yeah I cried.
